Students of the Month: February - May

February - May

Casey Collins – 10th Grade

Teacher Quote:

I nominate Casey Collins to be recognized for all of her efforts in the 4th quarter in Grade 10 Honors English.  When Casey missed some school days she always made the extra effort to complete her missing work.

Casey has maintained this strong work ethic, especially during the 4th quarter, when most students have already 'checked out.'  Casey is always polite, respectful, and utilizes her time in class to produce quality work for the demands of an Honors course.

Bianca Giacobbi – 8th Grade

Teacher Quote:

Bianca is a student who consistently tries to be a leader in the classroom. She is devoted to her studies and always gives her best effort.  She is the student who tries and persists harder than any other student. She wants to be here to learn and does not let any other students bring her down. She is always attentive, and her attitude positively affects those around her. I nominate Bianca because she is a student who I have seen consistently striving to LEARN.

Sylvia Chojnowska – 9th Grade

Teacher Quote:

I would nominate Sylvia Chojnowska for 4th quarter student of the month.  In my class she has been improving all year long and has come a long way since 1st quarter.  She completes all her homework in a timely manner and even when she is confused she gives it 100%.  Her level of participation has improved tremendously which in turn has helped her understanding of the subject matter.  Sylvia is always quiet, respectful, and prepared for class.
